I've been shooting a lot of cycling as you can probably tell, but the truth is, I shoot a lot of things. I went to college wanting to become a mechanical engineer, but ended up graduating with a degree in photojournalism.
I did an internship at the local paper, went to Eddie Adams, didn't move to New York, and started shooting for a bunch of publications here in San Francisco. Got married along the way and am now learning how to put my kids to bed early so I can fire up my PS4 for once. I am still frequently carded and I love to read maps.
I still shoot many different things now. Shooting for some of the world's leading publications and wire services has trained me to adapt and shoot efficiently and effectively while on the run. I've been told, repeatedly, to narrow it down, to find a niche.
But I like 'em all.
I am equally comfortable in the studio and at wildfires; at weddings and riots; popping a lot of strobes or not using any; working solo or with a full-blown crew. I love to tell a good story. Your story.
